Google Image Search factors

Here are some of the ranking factors of Google Image.Google and some other search engines such as Bing,Yahoo,etc rank images on these basis.

First and most important is image alt.It depends on Image alt.Image alts are names given to images so ranking are done on the basis of image alts.Image alts are same as keywords.

Google also searches image on the basis of post and title.Sometimes text and titles which lies nearer to images also depends.

So to get proper result in image search,if possible keep the post title,image alts and some of the texts similar so that your image will be indexed in top in images search.
